Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
MentoringIn is operated by CMC Biologics and Organizational Consulting Limited, Pennsylvania, USA. Contact: hello@mentoringin.com.
2. What we collect
- Account: name, email, password (stored securely by our sign-in provider — we never see it).
- Profile: photo, headline, city and time zone, years of experience, role, expertise.
- Private details: gender (optional), mentor preference, work style, 12-month goal, areas where you want help.
- Growth Hexagon: your answers and scores.
- Mentorships: requests, agreements, goals, milestones, sessions and notes, action items, thank-you notes, and messages.
- Mentor verification: LinkedIn URL, current role, license details.
- Safety: blocks and reports.
- Technical: basic logs our service providers keep (such as IP address and browser type) and sign-in data stored in your browser to keep you logged in.

The MentoringIn team accesses private content only to keep the service running, to investigate a report, or when the law requires it.
4. How we use it
To run MentoringIn: create your account, suggest mentors, run mentorships and messages, send account emails (like confirmations and password resets), keep the community safe, and improve the service.
5. What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't show ads.
6. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run MentoringIn: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Lovable (website hosting) and an email delivery service. They process data only on our behalf.
7. How long we keep it
While your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for safety (such as reports) or legal reasons.
8. Your choices
Edit your profile anytime, turn Growth Hexagon sharing on or off, change your private settings, block people, and request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support@mentoringin.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; contact us and we'll help.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by strict database rules so members only see what they're allowed to, and photos are stored privately. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Age
MentoringIn is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
11. Changes
If we make significant changes we'll tell you by email or in the app.
